It was my first wedding in 2022, and I was so excited to work with them! They were super nervous since they are not comfortable in front of the camera, which I can totally relate, I as well do not feel comfortable and is nerve racking to have the camera in front of me. Like I always say, "I belong behind the camera'! But they were so easy to work with and trusted my direction and vision. The wedding was in January and it was one of the coldest day of the month, but they were great trooper throughout the whole day, and you can't even tell in their pictures that is 20 degrees out!
The Rixey Manor is a GORGEOUS historic private estate set on 30 acres near Washington, DC with beautiful lake and mountain view. Which is super convinient if you have family flying in from DC. They have different options for you to have your ceremony and reception like indoor & outdoor spaces.
